LOU JOHNS
ABOUT

Lou works from her studio in Fishbourne, West Sussex. Where she works in a variety of mediums to create her striking pieces for exhibition and private clients.

She studied ‘Art and Education’ under Alan Saunders and Glynis Beercroft between 1972 and 1976, and maintained her talent and interests throughout her career and whilst raising her three daughters with her husband in London and then back in West Sussex.

In 2000 she finally turned her full time attention to pursue her talents and has since developed a reputation for producing beautiful and unique pieces of work that have been exhibited and sold both locally and internationally.

In recent years Lou has opened their garden to public for the Bosham and Chichester Open Gardens events, where her work has received huge praise. Surrounded by the blossomed woodland surroundings and interwoven by wild streams, her pieces sit as comfortably in the wilderness as they do in a stark modern environment.
