Tall
thin figures with economy of detail are one of the
trademarks of this work. The spaces between
and around the figures – either standing singly, in
pairs or threes – create an interest and a dynamism
which are as important as the forms themselves. Most
of these figures may be enjoyed both inside and
outside - making the most of your space and
providing a focal point which works well with the
surrounding shapes, whether architectural or natural
trees and water.

These figures hold a strong presence when displayed in singular, however when developed in pairs and groups the negative space and flow of light around and between them give a sense of interaction and movement. Starting from 0.8m in height, and no upper size limit, these forms are equally striking as indoor statement pieces or as outdoor sculptures. Cast in resin and metals, the sculptures are robust enough to be permanently displayed outdoors, while light enough to allow for ease of movement and positioning without the use of heavy machinery, making them ideal for installing in gardens and spaces with limited access. |

SMALLER FORMS |
These
figures are created in wax, naturally taking on the
curves and feel of the artists hands. They are
finished with a hot blade to heighten the planes and
detail and then cast into either Hallmarked
silver, bronze, or a coldcast
metal resin.
Each one is mounted with
care on a plinth ranging from marble to ebony, teak,
oakheart or driftwood to complement its character
and form. |
